As part of the creation of the new seaside village
Beaches Catherine Hill Bay by Rose Group, the private road known as Montefiore Street will be closed to all traffic from
Thursday 4 December.
From this time the only way in and out of Catherine Hill Bay will be via Flowers Drive. Arrangements have been made with emergency services should the need arise.
The closure will allow works to begin on the realignment and total rebuilding of Montefiore Street and part of Hale Street in Catherine Hill Bay by Daracon Contractors Pty Ltd, on behalf of Rose Group.
These works will be followed by the upgrading of the intersection with the Pacific Highway.
Our apologies for the temporary inconvenience but on completion the upgraded Montefiore Parkway and bicycle way will be dedicated to Council for the benefit of all residents and visitors to Catherine Hill Bay.
